Spain international midfielder Cesc Fabregas has urged all Chelsea fans to help Nigerian Victor Moses win the coveted BBC Africa footballer of the year crown.

The Nigeria was a massive revelation at the right wing-back in the 2016-17 Premier League season in his first term under Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

The wing-back managed to seal himself as a regular starter at Stamford Bridge after scoring a total of three goals and providing two assists in 34 matches in the English Premier League last campaign.

The Ex Liverpool defender helped the London side to win the English Premier League title with two matches to spare.

The Crystal Palace Academy graduate has spent most of the current 2017-18 season out of action due to an injury problem as the Blues struggle without their ever-reliable right wing-back.

He is one of five African players nominated for the BBC African Footballer of the year award.

The Chelsea star faces stiff competition from midfielder Naby Keita of German side RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund Superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Super Eagles winger will also have to fend off competition from Liverpool’s incredible summer signing, Egyptian Mohamed Salah and his club-mate Sadio Mane of Senegal.

And Chelsea midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas made his support for Victor Moses known on Instagram from the Doctor’s treatment table with the above picture on the popular social media platform.
The Blues have won the English League title twice in the last three campaigns.
