Arsenal fans celebrated the first clean sheet of the club this season on Sunday, in the Premier League encounter against Everton.
The feat happened right in front of the fans at the Emirates Stadium where Lacazette and Aubameyang helped Arsenal with a 2-0 win.
However, goalkeeper Petr Cech sees the clean sheet as no big deal as he knew it was already close by.
Cech had conceded in all five previous Premier League games this season and that has been a concern.
Pundits had expected the new Gunners recruit Bernd Leno to take over the stage but manager Unai Emery had insisted on the former Chelsea goalkeeper.
Cech has been one of the reasons why there were calls for the Spanish manager to back down his newly introduced style of building an attack from behind because he has been shaky.
But the clean sheet against Everton on Sunday definitely means hope of more to come.
Delighted Cech said he saw it coming because it would have happened against Newcastle, but for the die minute goal, he conceded.
Cech had earlier spoken of his chances at Arsenal come next season. He holds the opinion that he might be having his last season to impress at the club.
He has beaten competition from Leno who was earlier believed to come walk straight into the starting eleven of the team.
94% pass completion! Arsenal agree transfer deal, announcement set for July 1st
