AC Milan are looking to sign Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski as new coach Vincenzo Montella hopes to rebuild a struggling Rossoneri side for the upcoming season. The Poland international, who has been on-loan at Empoli for the past two seasons, has made a name for himself as one of the league’s most exciting talents. Zielinski’s performances have subsequently seen him linked with a move to either Napoli or Europa League runners-up Liverpool this summer. Nevertheless, reports suggest Milan are now in prime position to acquire the 22-year-old. Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani is said to have made the most of the club’s good relationship with the Zebrette, with the 71-year-old recently travelling to Ibiza to meet with Udinese President … [Read more...]
Chelsea interested in Lazio attacking midfielder
Lazio are willing to let Felipe Anderson leave at the right price, with Premier League club Chelsea understood to be interested in the Brazilian. The future of Lazio attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson looks increasingly unlikely to be in the Italian capital after the Biancocelesti relaxed their previously rigid stance on letting the player leave. This may well have something to do with the fact that Anderson changed agent only a few weeks ago, opting to affiliate himself with Giuliano Bertolucci. Bertolucci is a close associate of Iranian agent Kia Joorabchian, and the Italian is reportedly working hard to secure a transfer for his new client. Favourites to secure the 23-year-old’s services are Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who have developed strong ties … [Read more...]
Sanchez not for Sale- Juve chief
Juventus have confirmed that they made a £34m bid for Alexis Sanchez but Arsenal are refusing to sell the star. Speaking to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta believes that Arsenal will not sell the player, despite his club making a “reasonable” offer. Juventus have already made strides in the transfer market, signing Dani Alves on a free transfer and Miralem Pjanic from Roma. However, losing Alvaro Morata back to Madrid means they need an extra attacking option. The club made Sanchez their first choice. Reports last week claimed that Juventus had bid £26m and then £30m for Sanchez, but Moratta now confirms that the final offer was £34m. That would allow Arsenal to make a profit on the Chilean, but Arsene Wenger … [Read more...]
Hirving Lozano unaware of Manchester United interest
The president of Grupo Pachuca has laughed off talk of Manchester United signing Hirving Lozano and claimed it is simply “not true”. United were thought to be closing in on the signing of 20-year-old Mexico star after the Pachuca vice-president and the player’s father-in-law, earlier this week, suggested a deal was on the agenda. “Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official,” Lozano’s father-in-law told Futbol Entre Lineas, while the club’s Andre Fassi claimed: “Already there is negotiations with that team [United]? Yes.” Now however those reports have been dashed by Jesus Martinez, who said that there are no kind of negotiations with the Premier League club. “They are rumours that sometimes even … [Read more...]
Liverpool target Borussia Dortmund midfielder Blaszczykowski
Liverpool could be poised to bring Poland star Jakub Blaszczykowski to Anfield, according to reports from Germany. The Pole played under Jurgen Klopp for six year at Borussia Dortmund, winning two Bundesliga titles and finishing as a runner-up in the Champions League final in 2013, but could be reunited with his former boss. Blaszczykowski would also cost less than £6m as well, according to Bild . At 30 years of age and with a history of injuries, the winger certainly poses a risk signing for Liverpool but Klopp is reportedly keen to bring his experience to Anfield. Jurgen Klopp is looking to overhaul his squad ahead of the coming season and is keen to bolster his ranks. Sadio Mane has already been brought in from Southampton as has Loris Karius from … [Read more...]
Everton boss Koeman says Juan Mata signing is possible
Everton boss Ronald Koeman admits a deal for Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is possible. The Spaniard’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt following the arrival of Jose Mourinho and when asked by fans, whilst signing autographs, whether a move for Mata was on the cards, Koeman replied: “Yes, it is possible.” The 28-year-old attacking midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Everton and reports in Spain on Friday suggested that the Toffees were in pole position . The arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan has no doubt shunted Mata down the pecking order of Old Trafford, now managed by the man who sold Mata from Chelsea. Reports earlier this week suggested that Everton had tabled a £20million offer for Mata, who played under Koeman during his … [Read more...]
Juventus interested in Matic but he won’t go on a cheap
The Premier League club’s asking price for holding midfielder Nemanja Matic appears to be too steep for the Bianconeri. Juventus‘ hopes of securing the signing of Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic are fading, with the Bianconeri unable to match the asking price for the midfielder. The Serbia international has been targeted by the Bianconeri, who are looking to strengthen their midfield options as they aim for a sixth consecutive Scudetto. However, Massimiliano Allegri’s ambitions of securing the former Benfica ace have been dampened by Chelsea’s demands, with the Premier League outfit slapping a €30 million price tag on their star asset, according to reports. With incoming Chelsea coach Antonio Conte yet to decide whether he wants to keep Matic in West London, … [Read more...]
