Chelsea have allegedly sacked Italian tactician Antonio Conte as their boss after finally agreeing to terminate his deal.

Chelsea part ways with Conte
The Blues have been trying to get rid of the former Juventus manager for sometimes now and have the intentions in place for Italian Maurizio Sarri to come in and replace him.

According to a report by Sky Sports, Antonio Conte has now left his role at Stamford Bridge after Billionaire owner Roman Abramovich agreed to pay the former Italy boss £9million as a compensation fee.

The Blues players have been told about Roman’s decision and were handed the afternoon off from training on Thursday.

Player’s informed
Antonio Conte had returned to Cobham with his men last Saturday to begin pre-season training, but will no longer take the squad forward as the team continues to talk with Serie A side Napoli over a compensation package for Sarri.

Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich is thought to have called a meeting in Capri during the week with Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis to go over the final details of Maurizio Sarri’s appointment.

Sarri set to be appointed
Sarri, 59, is now expected to be named as Antonio Conte’s successor in the next few days with the side desperate to settle their managerial issues in good terms before the English Premier League campaign starts next month.

Antonio Conte leaves West London after only two years in charge of the club, having won the Emirates FA Cup last season and the English Premier League title in 2016-17 – his debut season at the side.
