According to Spain’s Marca newspaper, Arsenal have made a £123 million Kylian Mbappe bid.
The publication claims the new Mbappe offer is about €140m, which amounts to about £123m.
Mbappe, 18 is wanted by many teams in Europe, including heavyweights such as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already declared his interest in the starlet, but the reported offer seems like more money than Arsene Wenger would want to spend.
The Gunners have already signed Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for £46.5m, and have been turned down for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar. Arsene Wenger is in the transfer market for more attackers, especially if the London club are forced to sell Chilean Alexis Sanchez.
While Monaco are glad to sell the youngster, they have already said they will not sell to PSG. Meanwhile, Spanish giant Real Madrid are trying to raise enough money to sign Mbappe and are shopping around the transfer market for players. Mateo Kovacic is one footballer that has been made available, and the European Champion has contacted Arsenal rivals Tottenham about his availability already.
Real Madrid has also loaned out Colombian James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich, which will free up cash for Mbappe’s wages; if he agrees to join the Capital City Club.
