DONE! Youngster Agrees Manchester United Loan Deal

Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has agreed to join Leeds United on a loan deal till next summer.

The defender has had limited first team opportunities at the Old Trafford due to the presence of overwhelming talents and was shipped out on loan to Wolverhampton Wanderers last term where he could not impress with just seven appearances all season for the lower league side.

The 20-year-old has been touted to get more first team opportunities elsewhere ahead of next season in a bid to prove himself and has agreed to join Leeds to gain some experience in the Premier League.

Before his initial loan move to Wolves, Borthwick announced himself to the senior scene under former boss Louis Van Gaal and went on to make 14 appearances for the senior team, ten of which came under the Dutch manager.

However, the young defender has not been able to prove himself under Jose Mourinho since last summer, despite signing a new deal in 2016.

Jose Mourinho already have the likes of Luke Shaw, Daley Blind and Darmian Matteo at the left-side of defence with reports that the latter might be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer as Juventus continue to circle over his signature.
