Everton star player Ross Barkley ia a potential target for both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this summer and he is expected to leave Goodison Park before the end of this summer transfer window.
But there are new reports that the player has picked up another injury just three days after returning to training.
The Englishman refused signing a new deal with Everton and has endured an unpleasant summer after undergoing a hernia operation and is yet to find a new club to play for in the new season.
And the Daily Mail are reporting that the youngster picked up another hamstring injury on Monday and was helped off the field.
It was added that the player will be scanned to determine the full extent of the injury, but it could still obstruct his chances of sealing his desired move away from Everton.
Chelsea and Tottenham are understood to be interested in Barkley this summer, but do not intend paying the £50M Ronald Koeman’s side are demanding for the midfielder.
The clubs who need him do not want to pay more than £25m to Everton and might want to wait till deadline day to see if the toffees will reduce his price.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is still keen on bringing in new legs before the end of this transfer window.
