Borussia Dortmund star player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has emerged as a target for Liverpool this summer, and he appears determined to make a move to Anfield any time soon.
According to reports from France, the talented African is open to joining Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The striker has scored 120 goals in 189 appearances for his German side since joining them but has been strongly linked with a move away from the club ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
French outlet Le Parisien says Jurgen Klopp’s side are ready to pay out the £61million for the player in the coming months and the striker himself is set to move to Liverpool.
Back in 2013 while Jurgen Klopp was still boss at the Westfalenstadion, he brought Aubameyang to the club and right now, the striker is said to be excited about the prospect of reuniting with the German manager at Liverpool.
However, Liverpool won’t be getting the Gabon international without a fight as other big clubs are also said to be interested in signing him too. He has been linked with both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, but it is believed that he will most likely favour a move to Anfield.
In the just concluded season, he scored 40 goals and provided 5 assists in 46 games for Dortmund.
