Arsenal vs Chelsea: Lessons to be learnt by Arsenal
Once again, English football club, Arsenal suffered a defeat in the hands of their arch-rivals, Chelsea.
This is coach Unai Emery second defeat in a row having lost to Manchester City last week.
Arsenal had played well against Chelsea in the Preseason games but yesterday’s was different, as the Chelsea squad penetrating easily.
We believe Unai Emery will try to work on their many weaknesses ahead of their next match, that is if they are to win any trophy and if he wants to set a record for himself.
However, these are some of the lessons will believe the Arsenal side should take and work on for a better performance next time.
The Defense area lacks good communication.
The Gunners will have to work on their defense area which happens to be their major weakness, the players who handled the defense area didn’t really communicate well with each other as Chelsea players were given chances to play from dangerous areas.
Substituting the wrong players especially in the midfield.
It looks as if Emery is yet to understand is players pretty well as he made the wrong substitution by removing Granit Xhaka instead of Guendouzi to bring in Lucas Torreira.
The forward area needs a creative player.
This is one area Unai Emery got right as he started Nigeria player, Alex Iwobi, who really showed up a great performance through his creativity.
