Arsenal Plot Summer Move For £30m-rated Midfielder, Player Wants Move

Arsenal are eyeing a summer move for Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisson with reports that the player wants to leave the club this summer.

The midfielder has been a standout performer this season, banging 14 goals and six assists across all competitions, drawing interest from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is believed to a long-time admirer of the player’s abilities.

The Gunners have had issues in the midfield area this season, battling with injuries and poor form from Granit Xhaka, Mohammed Elneny and Aaron Ramsey while Jack Wilshere’s stay at the Emirates is uncertain.

Reports in the Daily Mirror claim that Tolisso has set sights on leaving Lyon this summer so as to get better chances of making France’s World Cup squad to Russia 2018.

The report also claim that the 24-year-old midfielder is valued at a fee around £30million and the likes of Juventus and Napoli have been credited with interest in him but Tolisso will hope to complete a move to the Gunners ahead of the Serie A clubs this summer.

The French midfielder had earlier revealed that the Gunners is one of his desired destinations in Europe, he said:‘Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal’.
