The future of Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger at the club remains a controversy and is not yet certain. Many Arsenal fans all over the world wants him to leave, but perhaps few wants him to stay….
But according to new reports, one of the boys at the squad Lucas Perez, is set to leave the North London club and go back to his old club Deportivo La Coruna this upcoming summer if the French coach remain as manager.
Perez is reportedly not happy with his lack of playing time ever since joining the club last summer, and the Spanish star appears frustrated at the club.
Wenger has a handful of big names he preferred ahead of Lucas, and it is being reported that he believes he has little chance of winning a place in Wenger’s squad if the French boss stays on at Arsenal.
The 28-year-old was a key player for his former Spanish club Deportivo before coming over to London. He had a swell time back in Deportivo, and it is said that he desire making a switch back to the club.
It was added that Perez is already eyeing a call-up for his country to represent at the 2018 World Cup, and playing regularly will increase his chance of being invited. But he feels Wenger’s presence at Arsenal won’t make this come to pass.
It is not yet known if Wenger will remain at Arsenal, but rumours had it that he is staying.
