Juventus are set to do business with North London club Arsenal for Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado, should they match his £26.8m price tag. The former Chelsea winger joined the Bianconeri from Chelsea earlier in May after two consecutive loan spells in Turin.
As per Premium Sport(via Talk Sport), Juventus are hoping to make an instant profit on the winger, who cost them £17.6m from Chelsea. Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta formerly hinted that the winger could be one of the players leaving the Serie A giant this summer transfer window, and according to reports, Juventus have placed a £26.8m price tag on his services.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has held a keen interest since his days at Fiorentina, and he is being seen as a potential competitor for the right wing-back position with the likes of Jenkinson and Debuchy tipped to exit the Emirates.
Bellerin and Chamberlain shared the roles in the tail-end of last season, but Chamberlain’s future remains a talking point as he is reluctant to extend his stay.
Chamberlain enjoyed his best campaign with Arsenal last season, scoring six goals and making 11 assists, but the need to further in his playing career has held him from prolonging his deal beyond June 2018.
Cuadrado was formerly seen as a winger in his early playing career, but his time at the Serie A side has seen him adapt to the right wing-back position, where he played second fiddle to Brazilian Dani Alves last season.
The Gunners are believed to have scouted the winger on several occasions last campaign, and this has invited rumors over his potential return to England, where he could not find his feet at Stamford Bridge.
