Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing Lyon striker, Alexandre Lacazette this summer to show intention off keeping the duo of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Wenger is keen on adding big names to his current squad this summer in a bid to persuade Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil about remaining at the club and latest reports have it that French forward, Lacazette is one of his main targets this summer and he is ready to sign the striker despite Lyon’s astronomical valuation.

Despite failing in their bid to sign Lacazette during the last summer transfer window, with reports that Lyon snubbed a £28.5million from the Gunners and are asking double that amount this term.

The 26-year-old enjoyed another fruitful spell in the French Ligue 1, netting 37 goals in 45 games across all competitions, drawing interest from several clubs in Europe.

The French striker was recently linked with a move to Spanish La Liga giants, Atletico Madrid earlier this summer, with reports that he has agreed to personal terms with Atletico before their transfer ban that restricts the club from signing players till next January.

The duo of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been tipped to leave the Emirates this summer, after failing to renew their deals with just one year remaining.
