Why Arsenal are not bothered about Ramsey’s potential exit, Sanllehi

Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal chief Raul Sanllehi has unwittingly stated that the club will not lose it sleep over the potential departure of Arsenal contract rebel, Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season.

Ramsey enters his last months of his current Arsenal deal and efforts to have a new deal with the club failed as a result of the financial demands of the Wales player.

The suggestions that Ramsey would be sold in January to enable the Gunners cash in on him has been dismissed with the Wales international revealing that he has had an agreement with the North London club, adding that he will be available until the end of the season.

However, Arsenal chief Sanllehi thinks replacing Ramsey will not be difficult especially with the young prospects in the club who are already showing signs of greatness.

Sanllehi likens to Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson as young players who could quickly step in the shoes of the Wales man.

According to the Gunners chief, the club has had a history of developing academy players into world stars, hinting that the culture will still be maintained under the current dispensation.

However, Arsenal need not to panic on the matter as he hopes Ramsey will not be greatly missed.
