Arsenal former player Martin keown has slammed Gunners midfielder Matteo Guendouzi for involving in some acts that seem to have cost the team in the course of the current season.
Guendouzi only joined the North London side in the summer transfer window and immediately went straight into the Unai Emery team which according to reports happened as a surprise to many because he had joined the club as a young lad.
The 19-year-old started the first few games of the season before he was later taken over by Uruguay international Lucas Torriera who is now the man at the centre for the club.
However, Guendouzi was pictured alongside four other Gunners’ players inhaling nitrous oxide which is known as Hippy crack from balloons during one of their night outings.
According to reports, the substance has been banned and most importantly, it makes a person weak and slow in thinking.
The North London legend in his reaction expressed disappointment in the Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who were all involved.
He noted that he expected league players to be role models who should not be found in such mess. According to Keown, what the players had done affected their performances in games for the Unai Emery side.
