Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has talked of frustration that the Gunners have been unable to win the Premier League title during his stint at the North London club.
According to the Mirror, the former Chelsea safe hand believes that supporters have every right to be angry at the lack of titles because of the club’s rich and successful history.
He further stated that as a player at the club, you get really frustrated also when you don’t achieve your targets because that’s the reason you train every day.
The goalkeeper said as a player he is used to winning titles and he is unhappy that after three years he hasn’t won one.
The Gunners are already battling it out this season to remain in the Premier title race. They are sixth in the Premier League, 12 points adrift runaway leaders Manchester City.
Arsene Wenger’s team has not won the English Premier League title since their ‘invisible’ 2003/04 triumph.
Arsenal has won three out of the last four English FA Cups, but that has left the supporters wanting more.
The lack of titles has seen the Emirate club struggle to keep their top players and they are now getting set to lose both Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez and Germany international midfielder Mesut Ozil for free in the summer as the pair’s Arsenal deal expires at the end of the on-going league season.
