Arsenal face Man City rivalry for Spanish star with £45m asking price

North London side Arsenal are faced with rivalry from English Premier League leaders Manchester City over the signing of Real Betis left full-back Junior Firpo.

The North London side have got to find an option in the left full back position with Nacho Monreal looking to be close to the exit door as well as his injury which has kept him out of action for a while.

Junior Firpo has been tipped to be a good fit for the Gunners team with manager Unai Emery believed to be a big fan of the star player and will be ready to meet his $45 million asking price.

However, the asking price could just increase with the interest from the league leaders who are reported to be seeking to lure the player with lucrative offers that will see Arsenal off.

Junior Firpo has scored 3 goals in his 16 games this season across all competition which makes him the player worth fighting for.

However, Man City boss Pep Guardiola has already hinted that there could be no winter transfer deals for his side in coming weeks as he hopes to keep his team together and continue to deliver which remains an advantage to the Gunners team to have his signature.
