Arsenal are expressing strong interest in AS Monaco midfielder, Fabinho according to reports.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from the French champions this summer, drawing transfer interest from several clubs in Europe.

A host of Premier League clubs have been tipped to swoop for Fabinho, with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City ready to beat Paris Saint Germain to the Brazilian’s signature.

The 23-year-old was part of the title-winning side, having spent four seasons at the Stade Louis II but he is said to be keen on leaving the club and fancies a move to the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho is understood to have held talks with the player’s representatives regarding a move away from Monaco, with suggestions that the Brazilian was open to a move to Old Trafford this summer.

However, reports in France Football claim that Arsenal have now emerged as one of the interested parties to sign Fabinho this summer, as Arsene Wenger hopes to fortify his midfield ahead of a crucial campaign.

The report also claim that the Gunners have not made a serious approach for Fabinho as Monaco looks to keep hold of the midfielder beyond the summer transfer window.
