Josh Kroenke has moved to the City of London temporarily to oversee a review of all aspects of the North London club as the board prepare for life after French tactician Arsene Wenger.
Board member wants Henry as manager
Kroenke jnr, who formerly disclosed he would like to see former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry as the club manager, will remain in London for about three months so as to understand better how the side is run, as per the Mail on Sunday.
The Gunners insist that Kroenke’s decision is not connected with an imminent change of manager but it represents a change in how the Kroenkes have run the club, preferring a free-hand approach till date.
Change imminent
It appears it might finally occur to one of the Kroenkes that someone should have an idea how the North London club is run, and that is Josh’s assignment over the next couple of months.
Josh Kroenke is the youngest member of the club board and he is also president of NVA franchise Denver Nuggets and the Gunners recent transfer moves looked to smack more of NFL or NBA dealings than what football fans normally used to see from the side.
Josh Kroenke was only 34-years-old when he was appointed to the board of Arsenal FC.
