Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed he is unsure whether Branislav Ivanovic will leave the Stamford Bridge this month.
The Serbian defender has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea due to his lack of chances under Antonio Conte.
Zenit Saint Petersburg and West Brom are believed to be in pursuit of the 32-year-old defender as he eyes a move away in search of first team opportunities.
Conte has now admitted Ivanovic might leave Chelsea before the end of the January transfer window.
“I don’t know,” he said when asked about Ivanovic’s future.
“This month has this window and there is a lot of speculation – a lot of lies and lot of truths in some situations.
There are four days to finish this window and then we see this situation. I don’t what will happen at the end of this window. The club knows my thoughts.”
Ivanovic has been one of the key figures at the Stamford Bridge before the arrival of Antonio Conte last summer but fell behind in the pecking order after the Italian boss started using his 3-4-3 formation which has worked so far this Premier League season.
The Serbian has won two League titles, a Champions League and Europa league titles in 2012 and 2013 respectively.
