Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has made it known that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out of action for one month with a knee injury.
The Swede legend has scored just once since he returned from the nasty injury he sustained last season, and the goal wasn’t even in the premier league.
The former Barcelona striker was not named in Man United’s squad that clashed with Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
There are worries his new issues could be linked to the injury sustained last term, and even Mourinho tagged him a “37-year-old with a bad knee”.
Romelu Lukaku also picked a nasty injury during the premier league clash against the Saints on Saturday, and considering Ashley Young getting suspended for three domestic games, Mourinho is obviously not the happiest manager right now.
Speaking after the 0-0 draw with Southampton on Saturday evening, Jose revealed Ibrahimovic’s situation, making it known the veteran star will be out for a month, with ‘a massive problem’.
However, when asked if he intends signing new players during the upcoming winter transfer window, the Portuguese boss said he is not yet sure, and that he is happy with his current squad at the club.
Manchester United have been linked with a handful of superb players including Antoine Griezmann.
