Manchester United midfielder, Bastian Schweinsteiger seems to have gotten into the good books of manager Jose Mourinho as he was spotted training with the first team. It was believed that the German had no future at Old Trafford after Jose Mourinho revealed at the start of the season that he will not be a major part of his plans and was removed from the first team squad.
Bastian Schweinsteiger joined United from Bayern Munich last year and was a regular member of the first team squad under former coach Louis Van Gaal. In his first season at the club, injuries restricted his participation in the team as he was only able to play 13 premier league matches.
With Mourinho revealing at the start of the season that the world cup winner would not feature in his plans, Bastian Schweinsteiger was forced to train on his own after he had also been banned from training with the reserves and at a point trained with the under 23’s. A few days ago was even left out of the club’s team photograph.
Reports also claim that Schweinsteiger has attracted the interest of AC Milan. It is believed that the Italian club is preparing to bring the German to the club during the January transfer window. Milan still believe that Schweinsteiger still has a lot to offer and when the window reopens in the winter will make a move for him.
Despite not being part of the first team, Schweinsteiger has continued to support Manchester United on social media.
