Belgium international and Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has been a target for Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window, and the Belgian, amid the Madrid speculations, has heaped praise on Real’s current boss Zinedine Zidane.
The talented winger revealed his admiration for the Frenchman, and has admitted that Zidane is one of his idols.
Before retiring from playing football, Zidane experienced a splendid career as a footballer. The French legend won the Champions League and other titles in Italy and Spain, with the prestigious Ballon d’Or too.
And now, being a football manager, the former midfielder continued to enjoy success as he has led Real Madrid to three trophies since he was appointed in 2016.
And now, Hazard has revealed that Zidane is one of his footballing heroes. But not only the French man he talked about, he also included Ronaldinho, Juan Roman Riquelme and Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
News from Spain indicated that the Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has made 26-year-old Hazard a top target ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. It was added that the French boss has told the club’s president he wants the Belgian in his team – and the chief has sworn to bring Hazard in to Spain.
However, Chelsea are reportedly not interested in selling Hazard – as the west London club is not a selling club in the first place.
But a former high-ranking official in Real Madrid’s management stated that it is left to Hazard if he really want to come over to Real Madrid or not.
