Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a handful of top clubs across Europe ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
In England, the duo of Chelsea and Manchester City are understood to be after his signature, although it was indicated that the Gunners are likely to sell the Chilean international to clubs not playing in the premier league.
However, it appears the two premier league clubs have been given a boost in Sanchez’s signature as one of their major competitors pulled out of the race for the Chilean.
Reports coming from France reveals that French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain have pulled out of the race to sign Sanchez.
According to French outlet Le Parisien, PSG regards the transfer ‘too complicated’ to complete and they are not ready to match the gunner’s contract offer of £275,000 per week.
It is also understood that the Ligue I club are not interested in making Alexis the highest-paid player in the club due to the conflict it might cause in their dressing room.
PSG will now make African star Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang one of their major priorities for the upcoming transfer window and will try luring him from Borussia Dortmund.
With PSG out, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Man City will lock horns over Sanchez’s signature.
