With January transfer looming ahead, Chelsea are said to have highlighted top quality defenders as the target. A renewed bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly would not be ruled out as Chelsea seeks to reinforce their back line.
Latest report according to sportwitness claims that the Senegalese agent Bruno Satin was present at Stamford Bridge this week, as he attended the Wyscout Forum. Many club officials and agents were there, as they would be.
Though it was not reported the agent came to negotiate a deal with Chelsea for the transfer of Koulibaly, but the source however inferred that it is all interlinked with Chelsea interest in the powerful centre back.
The 25-year old star was a prime target for Conte last summer. The Blues saw bid of €58m rejected by Napoli for the services of Koulibaly.
Strong, energetic and Calculative Koulibaly would certainly be a great reinforcement to the Blues defensive line, should Chelsea be able to lure the star to Stamford Bridge in January.
The 6ft 4 tall centre back moved to Napoli in 2014 from Belgian club Genk. Since his move to Stadio San Paolo, the star has made a total of 81 appearances for the club in all competitions.
