Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could be set for a switch to West Ham during the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old striker has had a torrid start to life at the Stamford Bridge and has barely started a game for the Blues since his arrival from Marseille during the summer.
However, West Ham who were actually beaten to the Belgian’s signature has now rekindled their interest following his lack of chances with the Blues.
Although, Batshuayi has reportedly held talks with the hierarchy at Stamford Bridge about his future with the club. The 23-year-old may continue to find life difficult at Chelsea due to Diego Costa’s electric form.
Reports in the Sun have it that Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is desperate looking to bring in more firepower in the striking position in January and remains keen on luring the former Ligue 1 striker to West Ham with a loan deal being a possibility in January.
There are speculations that West Ham are also looking at other big names like Daniel Sturridge who has also fallen down the pecking order at Liverpool with suggestions that he might make a move next month.
Prior to his arrival at Chelsea, Batshuayi has being in an excellent form in France with Marseille and has even scored three goals for Chelsea despite limited chances with the first-team.
