Wenger Believes Lucas Perez Was Hurt By Reading Deliberately, Gives More Injury Updates Ahead Of Sunday Clash

Ahead of the weekend clash against Sunderland, Manager Arsene Wenger has come out to accuse Reading of deliberately harming Lucas Perez.

Perez who started the EFL cup game against Reading in mid-week had to come off in the second half after feeling some pain and Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the striker is set to be out for about two months after suffering an ankle injury in the match.

“There are a few uncertainties over Walcott, Monreal and Cazorla,” Concerning Walcott, he stated: “He has a slight hamstring alert. A very minor one. He will have a test today and then should be okay for Tuesday.”

Wenger had some cheering news for the fans concerning Giroud and Ramsey, he said “We have Giroud back available and Aaron Ramsey will be in the squad. I have to be a bit cautious, especially with Aaron Ramsey. He has only had one week with the team so I will have to see.”
