Daniel Sturridge is set to leave Liverpool in January according to reports from the Daily Mirror. Sturridge this season has found it hard to get regular playing time at the club as he has slipped down the pecking order at Anfield.

With the likes of Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi ahead of him in the striking position there has been a lot of speculations concerning his future with reports also claiming that manager Jurgen Klopp does not really fancy him.

The player has now accepted that leaving the club will be the right thing for him to do and this could lead to a fight for his signature especially among premier league clubs. Sturridge who has also played for Manchester City and Chelsea in his career is still attracting interest from other clubs in the premier league. Two clubs linked to making a move for the England international are Stoke City and West Ham.

West Ham is in search of a top strike as they have found it hard to score goals and are looking to improve their forward line. Signing Sturridge will be a good move for the Hammers and could have a positive impact on the club and help them challenge for the European positions.

Stoke are also interested in the player who has scored four times this season with all goals coming in the EFL cup. Though Stoke have got Wilfred Bony from Manchester City on a season long loan they will not mind having Sturridge to bolster their strike force.
