United hero speaks on Anthony Martial’s future at United
Manchester United hero Ryan Giggs has made claims on the future of French forward Anthony Martial at the club.
According to the Wales international boss, it is important for his former side to keep hold of the former Monaco striker at the Old Trafford.
Giggs express delight in seeing Martial return to scoring form after starting the season very slow, a situation that got him frustrated and almost left the club.
The United legend disclosed that he worked with the French forward while he was an assistant manager at United and can attest to his quality and hard work.
Speaking on his personality, Giggs said Marital is a good guy who is quite shy and exhibits professional conduct in training.
He added that the new found form of the former Monaco striker has ensured confidence on the field.
Mourinho at the start of the season gave no attention to the French forward as he was more particular about Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku who is also under-firing at the moment.
Lukaku failed to score in eight appearances for the Old Trafford side which seems to force the Portuguese manager into changing his mind about Martial.
United are currently eight in the Premier League season.
