Anfield giants Liverpool have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of the English Premier League (EPL) title following the news that three of the first team starters have recovered from various injuries and are in contention ahead of the side’s clash at hosts Bournemouth on Sunday in what would be Matchweek 14 in the league.

28-year old influential midfielder Adam Lallana is back in training having recovered from a groin injury he sustained in England’s 2-2 draw with Spain at the Wembley Stadium during the international break that has made him miss the last three games (Southampton, Sunderland and Leeds United).

Forward Roberto Firmino and defender Joel Matip have also recovered from knocks and are both in contention for the game at Dean Court.

This would be music to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s ears due to the fact that he is getting three top performers back from injury though that three other players namely Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings are still out.

Brazilian playmaker Coutinho will be out until the New Year after he suffered ankle ligament damage in the last league game against Sunderland while striker Daniel Sturridge missed the Black Cats’ clash with a calf problem and is still presently recovering from the injury. On the other hand, young forward Danny Ings won’t likely feature again this season after suffering a serious knee injury.
