Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has sent a note of warming to their next English Premier League (EPL) opponents Manchester United after he pointed out that his team is finally starting to click into gear following a difficult past few weeks.

Pochettino and his Tottenham recently lost their 12-game unbeaten start to the league season after a 2-1 loss to leaders Chelsea in addition to exiting the UEFA Champions League (UCL) at the group stage but his team has bounced back well in the last one week with the 5-0 thrashing of bottom club Swansea City as well as the 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow in their final group game, a result that was enough to seal a UEFA Europa League (UEL) spot as the third-placed team.

According to news outlet Daily Express, the former Argentine international was quoted as saying that: “We are starting to show our real quality. We struggled in the last month and a half because we have some problems, but we have all the squad nearly fit and we are stronger.”

“You can feel the team is recovering that feeling that we can win every game. We have recovered that feeling maybe that we lost when it’s true, it was a bit of a struggle to compete.

“We need all the players fit to be strong and to compete in tough competitions like the Premier League and Champions League and it was unlucky that our struggle arrived in a busy period with important games.” he further added.
