It is no longer news that legendary Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has announced his retirement from active football as he stated that he would be hanging his boot at the end of the season.

However, former English Premier League outfit Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard is latest to anode his retirement as he also made it clear that he will no longer play active football at the end of the season.

Tim Howard is a household name in the English Premier League and known to have given his beat when he was in active football.

However, the retiring player hailed the interim United manager Ole Gunnar for doing a good job and returning the team back to winning ways.

According to him, United are now returning to the top where they belong with a great football style which is typical of the legendary manager Alex Ferguson.

He, therefore, hinted that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be handed the opportunity to continue working with the United team as he has been able to give them a new lease on life.

The former United forward took over as the interim boss at the Old Trafford in December, last year following the sack of former manager Jose Mourinho.
