Chelsea are expected to meet with representatives of AS Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this week over a potential summer deal, according to reports.

The French midfielder has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs due to his solid impressive displays for Monaco this term as they won the Ligue 1 title this season and also got the latter stages of the Champions League.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both been credited with an interest for Bakayoko this summer, after the midfielder openly rejected offer from Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint Germain despite having a better offer from them.

Reports in The Telegraph have it that the Blues are set to meet with player’s agent over a summer move with reports of a £50million offer could be discussed for the midfielder, with suggestions that Paris Saint Germain will do business for that fee.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made it clear that he wants to bring a number of players to the Stamford Bridge this summer and have identified several targets to achieve a better team next season.

It is understood that the Italian boss is keen on bringing in Bakayoko to Stamford Bridge to replace Oscar and Mikel Obi who both left Chelsea to move to the Chinese Super League during the last January transfer window.

United boss Jose Mourinho has also been credited with interests in a number of targets this summer and will find vital additions to his current squad.
