This Midfield Maestro Open To Arsenal Move After Rejecting Contract Extension

AS Monaco star, Thomas Lemar is reportedly open to a move to Arsenal this summer after rejecting contract extension with the French club.

The 21-year-old has been a subject of transfer interest from a couple of clubs in Europe following his eye-catching displays with the Ligue 1 champions, helping them to a wonderful outing.

Reports in French outlet L’Equipe claim that Lemar is holding out for an Arsenal move after turning down a contract extension at Monaco.

This comes after reports that the French star is open to joining the Gunners this summer despite their lack of Champions League action next season.

It is understood that Monaco values Lemar at a reported fee of £26million will not bulge on their valuation.

The midfielder was one of the key performers for Monaco last term, netting 14 goals and 14 assists to help them to a wonderful display both in the Ligue 1 and in Europe.

However, North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on landing Lemar this summer and France teammate, Hugo Lloris is believed to be trying to convince the star to move to eh White Hart Lane this summer.
