Tammy Abraham

Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham continued his good form for his Midland club after he found the back of the net in the win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Tammy Abraham and Aston Villa came from one goal down to beat hosts Sheffield Wednesday in their English Championship clash on Saturday.

England international Tammy Abraham is on a season-long deal at Aston Villa from West London giants Chelsea.

Tammy Abraham came through the ranks at Chelsea but he has not been able to secure a spot in the Blues’ first team.

Before his loan transfer to Aston Villa on the final day of last summer’s transfer window, Tammy Abraham had spent time on loan at Championship clubs like Bristol City and Swansea City whom he played for before their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Sheffield Wednesday had taken an early lead against Aston Villa through Gary Hooper before John McGinn equalised for the visitors as both sides played out a 1-1 draw at halftime.

Substitute Albert Adomah scored a second goal for Aston Villa in added time before Tammy Abraham wrapped up the 3-1 win over the Owls.

Tammy Abraham is the joint leading goalscorer in the Championship alongside Billy Sharp of Sheffield United.

Aston Villa are in fifth spot on the table with 63 points from 40 games and they are on course for a Premier League playoff spot at the end of this season.
