Nabil Fekir has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with Liverpool.
Right now, Lyon’s Chief Jean-Michel Aulas has asked the French international to complete a move away from the club before the last day of July, hence he will play for them next season.
The club’s management have decided offering the player the chance to determine his future – something a lot of clubs won’t do. Well, perhaps it was intentional – as Lyon need to be sure Fekir still has the desire to continue playing with them.
The club’s president has said a lot of things about Fekir’s future, and while there are different ways to interpret them, it appears Nabil has been told he has until the end of July to organize his switch to Anfield.
Although the president is still nursing some hopes that the France international will stay at the club, there is still a chance that Fekir will move to Merseyside before the closure of the ongoing window.
From all indications, if an agreement should be made and Fekir joined Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, it would be due to him forcing it through as opposed to the Merseysiders.
And this is because manager Jurgen Klopp already stated that he’s pleased with his squad.
But we are patiently awaiting for July 31st.
