Talented Midfielder Wants His Man United Future To Be Sorted Soon

Manchester United star player Michael Carrick says he hopes he can sign a new deal with the Old Trafford club soon.

However, the veteran midfielder is not yet sure if he would be playing at the Old Trafford club for another year.

The former Tottenham man has been on a one-year rolling contract with Man United in recent years.

Carrick, even though hopes a decision will be made in the near future, has admits his contract is up in the air.

“I still feel fine, I still feel good, I still feel fit,” he told Sky Sports.

“Hopefully in the not too distant future we’ll have an idea [if I can sign].

“I think it’s only right for me and for the club to know exactly what direction we’re moving; if I’m here or if I’m not.

“It’s got to be right for both parties.” he said.

Rojo: I’m Really Happy Here

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has insisted that he is really happy at the club.

Rojo’s future was thought to be in doubt after Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho was appointed as the club’s new manager in May.

The Argentina international started the season out-of-favour under the new United manager after Louis van Gaal signed the him in the 2014 summer transfer window.

However, former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho suffered a string of injuries to his first-choice defenders which opened the door for the Argentine to established himself in the manager’s first-team plans and he has eventually gone on to make 15 appearances in the Premier League this season at centre-half and left-back.

Rojo speaking to Manchester Evening News about his future at the Old Trafford club discussed his continued happiness at the Manchester outfit, insisting that he is happy there.

Manchester United are in sixth place in the Premier League table.
