Epl Fixture: Prediction, Possible Line-up, Injury News (SOU VS HULL)

This fixture to be hosted at st Mary’s stadium home ground of Southampton has two teams with contrasting fortunes. The home team who lie in 9th position on the table with no fear of the drop or hopes of European football and their opponent hull city  languishing in relegation waters and just a place and two points above above the final relegation spot

Hull city battling relegation have a huge confidence boost with striker Oumar Niasse’s red card  he received in the fixture against Watford over-turned after appealing the decision which makes him available for this one. Marco Silva head coach of hull city will be looking for ways to motivate his squad to further gallop away from the relegation zone to remain in the premier league

Defender Omar Elabdellaoui remains absent with back problem and may not play again this season, while Ryan mason, Moses Odubajo, and Will Keane remain long term absentees

The host also have lethal striker Manolo Gambiadinni back from injury after being out for  over a month on tthe sidelines. Southampton will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 4-2 away loss to Chelsea at Stamford bridge. Manager Claude Puel will be looking to make changes to the side from the last time out.

The host will be missing captain Virgil Van Dirk who has been out for over two months with a foot injury. Southampton have however been boosted with the return to training of striker Charlie Austin, boosted with the return to fitness of defender Sam Mcqueen, though the left back is not expected to make an instant return to the first team.
