Arsenal are lining up a summer bid for Lille defender Sebastien Corchia as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin, according to reports.

The 21-year-old defender has been tipped to leave the Emirates this summer with reports of keen interest from Barcelona who are believed to eyeing a move for their academy graduates as a long-term replacement for Dani Alves who left the club last summer to Juventus on a free transfer.

Reports in the Goal claim that Arsene Wenger is a longterm admirer of Corchia’s qualities and wants to sign him this summer as he hopes to offload the likes of Mattieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson who have fallen out of favour due to the brilliance of Hector Bellerin.

The 26-year-old defender is understood to be considering a move elsewhere if Lille fails to compete in the Europa League next season and Arsenal is said to be one of his potential destinations

Corchia was courted by Arsenal few seasons ago, before the emergence of Bellerin with suggestions that Wenger was interested in the defender due to his experience of playing at the top-level, making over 300 appearances in the Ligue 1, coupled with his ability to play at full-back and wing-back positions,
