A handful of players in the English premier league have been so superb this season, and we don’t know yet who is going home with the prestigious premier league player of the Year award.

One of the star players that has been so impressive this season so far and has been of immense help to his club, is Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku.

As expected, lots of clubs have begun showing great interest in him – both in England and beyond, and he is expected to be one of the upcoming transfer window’s hottest properties.

He is very likely to leave Everton come summer as he reportedly refused agreeing a new deal at the club.

He is more likely to remain in England – with Manchester United and Chelsea touted to be his next destination.

Nevertheless, new reports have revealed that the Belgium international has told his friends the club he desire moving to.

The 23-year-old has reportedly told his friends that he wants to rejoin Chelsea – which is his first-choice destination.

The Belgian was at the club when former Chelsea Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho was still boss at the Stamford Bridge club. And it appears he is avoiding working again with Mourinho by ignoring a choice of Man United.

Since Chelsea Spanish striker Diego Costa is bound to move away from the club at the end of this season, a superb replacement is needed for him – especially considering that Chelsea are bound to participate in the Champions League next season.

However, Lukaku’s current club are said to be against his move to Chelsea, and the club are trying all they could to make him stay put at Everton.
