The return of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane changes record for Liverpool as they defeat EPL champions.

Yesterday in the city of New York was a big moment for Liverpool as they played against Premier league toppers, Man City in the ongoing International Champion Cup.

The two English clubs are currently on a football tour in the US and will return to England next month for the commencement of a new season.

Yesterday match saw the duo of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane give their best since the end of the World Cup in Russia as they beat Manchester City 2 goals to 1.

The match started with a goalless scoreline in the first half but the game changed in the second half as Manchester City scored the first goal.

However six minutes after Man City scored, Mo Salah headed in the first goal for the Reds and also attempted to head in a second but it was a failed attempt.

The ball went on in a draw till it got to the injury time.

Liverpool was awarded a penalty after Dominic Solanke was fouled in the back by Tosin Adarabioyo

Senegal international, Sadio Mane played the penalty kick and the game ended in a 2 -1 victory for Liverpool.
