Spanish La Liga side, Real Sociedad have offered Manchester United a bid of £9.7million for Adnan Januzaj, according to reports.

The Belgian ace broke into the first team at the Red Devils under David Moyes but could not continue with his impressive start, and was subsequently sent on loan to Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland but could not convince at the various stages.

Januzaj has failed to live up to expectations in the Premier League, playing 25 matches without scoring a goal as Sunderland were relegated last season.I

It is understood that Manchester United are open to the sale of the 22-year-old this summer and will welcome offers for him this window.

Real Sociedad have now submitted an offer of £9.7million for Januzaj and will hope to sign the player this summer, according to Sky Sports sources.

France Football also claim that the La Liga side are confident of landing the Belgian this summer.

Jose Mourinho has told club vice chairman, Ed Woodward of his intentions to bring in signings this summer in a bid to bolster his ranks next season and as well as clear out deadwood in order to create space for the new signings, with reports that the Portuguese wants to trim down his squad size.
