Real Madrid Agrees Deal With Chelsea For James Rodriguez, Personal Terms Remaining

James Rodriguez’ future at Real Madrid is still uncertain and we expect him to make a decision this summer. He is currently on international duty with the Colombian national side, and we look forward to what his decision will be.

However, in a new development, it is understood that his club are keen on closing the transfer as they want to begin concentrating on their own targets. According to AS, the Champions League winners are considering Chelsea’s £65 million offer for the striker and are willing to let him make a move to west London. It was added that Chelsea are now waiting for Rodriquez to accept personal terms.

In the past January transfer window, Chelsea made attempts to sign the Colombia international. Antonio Conte sold Brazilian star Oscar to China for £60 Million, and he is said to be keen on using the fund to get Rodriquez’ signature.

However, the La Liga giants were not willing to let go of him as they had a transfer ban.

It was added that the premier league champions had made three bids already – £50 million, £57 million and £60 million – but all were rejected by the Madrid club. However, the La Liga champions have finally agreed on £65 million for James.

Chelsea are yet to make a major signing this summer, and perhaps, James Rodriguez might be the first.
