Quincy Promes -a top Liverpool transfer target- has agreed to dropping down his current wages in other to join the Merseyside as reported by Daily Star.
Klopp is an admirer of the 25-year-old Dutch winger and had shortlisted him as a January transfer target for the Reds with an official bid to be made. A slight hiccup in any potential deals would be the wingers earnings with current side -Spartak Moscow- which is said to be on the high side, with Liverpool unwilling to match it.
Reports from Daily Star claim Quincy Promes wants a deal to the Merseyside and is willing to cut down on a said £7m-a-year salary -which is more than what Liverpool have to offer- just to join the Reds.
Liverpool has also received encouraging news as concerning their pursuit of former Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriguez with the Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery admitted the player could leave the French club this month.
The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid to become a club fan favorite before joining the French side last summer in a €25m deal but has since then struggled to keep his place in the teams starting eleven having been saddled with fitness and injury problem.
