The 31-year-old forward will be a good buy for the French side and is not cup-tied in the Champions League.

Earlier this week, there were reports that the Blues are close to tie up a deal for the Spainard in a swap deal that may see Michy Batshuayi move to the Liberty stadium having failed to nail a starting spot under Antonio Conte since he joined during the last transfer window.

PSG are understood to be keen on signing the former Juventus ace who has scored six goals in 17 Premier League appearances and is also wanted by Conte as good competition for Diego Costa.

In related news, reports in the London Evening Standard have it that West Ham United are not willing to cash in on Michail Antonio following speculations that Chelsea are considering a move for the exciting attacking midfielder who is Hammers’ top goalscorer so far this season.

Conte is said to be a keen admirer of the 26-year-old who has played at right-back, center forward and also on the right side of midfield so far this season.

The Hammers are also said to be weighing up a move for Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe but has been pegged back by his some certain financial issues.
