Prior to the week 13th Premier League games, all eyes were on Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City as they are yet to be defeated by any team in the League.

Chelsea battle Tottenham at Wembley, Liverpool face Watford at Vicarage road while Manchester City were at home to West United.

After the three games, Chelsea couldn’t maintain their unbeaten run as the succumbed to Tottenham’s deadly attacking display as it ended 3-1.

Liverpool were rampant against the Hornets as they put three goals past Watford goalie, thanks to Salah, Alexander-Arnold and highly-criticized Roberto Firmino.

Manchester City continue their high goalscoring display as they thrashed the Hammers 4-0 as Leroy Sane(2), David Silva and Raheem Sterling all found that back of the net.

Tottenham vs Chelsea

Much was expected from Maurizio Sarri’s men by their fans but they failed to meet their expectations as their display against Tottenham was nothing to write about.

Having at the back of their mind that only a victory would keep them in the race for the title, the Blues started the game in a bright note.

However, 15 minutes into the encounter, Mauricio Pochettino’s men began to run riot against their London rivals and they got a deserved lead in the first half, thanks to Dele Alli’s fine goal.

Harry Kane double the home side’s lead after an unimpressive display from David Luiz, who ought to have blocked the striker’s shot.

To make matter worst for the Blues, Son Heung Min made it three in the second half to put the game far beyond Chelsea’s reach.

Second half substitute Olivier Giroud scored late in the game but it was just a mere consolation as West London club recorded their first defeat of the season.

Watford Vs Liverpool

The Reds ensured their impressive start to the season continue in style as they thrashed Garcia’s men by a 3-goal margin.

The Reds are in fine form and are being tipped by many as the only team capable of challenging City for the Premier League glory.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring after a great ball from Sadio Mane.

The lively Senegalese hit the woodwork in the opening half of the clash as he couldn’t find the back of the net throughout the game.

Alexander-Arnold scored a well-taken free kick to double the lead before Firmino was on the ground to score the last goal of the game.

West Ham vs Manchester City

The Citizens are presently unstoppable as they were 4-0 winners over the Hammers.

Guardiola’s men remain unbeaten in the League and they remain first on the Premier League table with an impressive number of goals scored.

It will be out of place to write the Blues off in the title race but Sarri must try all he could to bring his players back to winning ways as soon as possible
