Kurt Zouma is feeling delighted about his rehabilitation from an injury he sustained during the match against Manchester United at Standford Bridge five months ago.

According to metro,  Conte reveals he is expecting Zouma to be back after the international break next week.

‘For Zouma, I hope to see him in the training sessions next week,’ said Conte who is on a  press conference ahead of the London derby this weekend.

‘He’s in good shape and I hope to see him next week in training, to start counting on him.

‘Possibly [he will return after the international break]. Probably – we will wait one week more.’

Zouma who has not been out of action for this long explains how he’s coped so far.

‘It’s been really hard but if you’re strong mentally you can do anything,’ he says. ‘It’s football, lots of players have had big injuries and been out for a while.

So far the 22-year old have successfully played a full 90 minutes without suffering any injury.

The Chelsea defender posted the above selfie from his Physio table, delighted and looking stronger.

The physically strong French defender will be facing a battle to support Chelsea’s defence that has not conceded a goal in the last 5 Premier League games.

Chelsea are currently using a 3-4-3 system, a working strategy that have seen them through to the second place in the log, above the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City and just a point adrift Liverpool.
