Ex Arsenal Man Predicts Where Man United And Chelsea Will Finish This Season

Former Arsenal man Paul Merson is already backing Manchester United to finish in the top four this season and Chelsea to be crowned Premier League champions at May.

Man United currently face a big challenge to secure Champions League qualification after they ended up fifth in the EPL table last season.

This season too, the Old Trafford club have struggled to find consistent form in the Premier League and are presently sixth in the table, 14 points behind table leaders Chelsea.

However, Merson is tipping Arsenal to drop out of the top four and be replaced by United before the end of the season

.He is additionally tipping the blues to be crowned the EPL champions, with  Conte’s men currently flying high at the top of the table and nine points above their rivals.

Merson speaking to Sky Sports, Merson said:

“I think Chelsea winning the title is a given. You’ve only got to look at what they’ve done to teams outside the top six, winning 15 and drawing one, and they’ve only got two more games against top-six sides left.

“I’m going for Manchester United in fourth though as I think Jose Mourinho has got them going and I’ve said from day one Mkhitaryan is a fantastic player, so having him firing is a huge boost.” he added.
