Not Sanchez – Manchester United Set To Splash €60M To Sign Serie A Star

One player that has been constantly linked with a move to English premier league side Manchester United is Inter Milan star player Ivan Perisic.

The Old Trafford club has shown interest in signing the Croatian international and latest reports indicates that United’s Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho is so keen to get his signature in the upcoming summer transfer window.

News coming from Italy claimed that not only Man Utd are interested in signing him, but that premier league table leaders Chelsea are also monitoring his activities too.

It was however added that the Old Trafford club are ready to spend a fee of €60 million (which is $64million) to bring him in to the club.

The 28-year-old is reportedly worth 60 million euros.
Perisic has, in this campaign, featured 28 times in the Serie A for Inter Milan and has scored 9 goals, providing 6 assists too.

He made his debut for the Croatian national side back then in 2011, and has gone on to be a pivotal member in the national team. He also represented his country at the European Championships last year.

The former Wolfsburg man is a versatile star who can be used anywhere in the attacking third but is mainly utilised as a left winger.

Currently in Jose Mourinho’s team, French star Martial is the one who mainly plays on the left hand side of the attack. However, the former Monaco player has been inconsistent for the red devils. So, if Perisic should come in, he can easily replace Martial in the starting XI.
