Senegalese midfielder Cheikh Ndoye has praised international teammate Sadio Mane after his heroics during the friendly game with the Eagles of Mali on Tuesday night.

Sadio Mane was the catalyst for Senegal who came from behind to beat Mali 2-1 in their international friendly clash at the Stage Leopold Senghor in Dakar earlier this week.

In his recent interview monitored by Goal, Ndoye revealed that Sadio Mane showed his class against the Malians.

Sadio Mane started the Mali game on the bench before he came on with his side trailing 1-0 to a goal scored by second-half substitute Adama Traore.

The Liverpool forward scored the equaliser for the hosts with three minutes left having spent eleven minutes on the pitch.

Senegalese substitute Moussa Konate went on to score the winning goal two minutes into added time to give his side the win.

Mane and Senegal have qualified for the 2019 African Cup of Nations scheduled for this summer and they are one of the early favourites for the tournament.

Liverpool forward Mane has been in devastating form for the Reds this season and his impressive performances have proven to be the catalyst for the Merseysiders’ quest for honours in both the Premier League and the Champions League.

He has scored 11 goals in his last 11 games in all competitions for Liverpool.
